HADASSAH SHABBAT ACROSS THE REGION
Celebrating 109 Years of Hope and Healing
Shabbat Zachor: February 19 and 20, 2021
Kabbalat Shabbat, Shabbat Torah Service or Havdalah at virtual locations across Hadassah Northern New England will be available to join livestreaming or Zoom.
A list of participating congregations will be available by early February.
What is Shabbat Zachor?
Shabbat Zachor is the Shabbat immediately preceding the festival of Purim . Hadassah Shabbat Services are often held on this Shabbat because of this connection with Purim. When Henrietta Szold, along with the women of her study group, formed the first chapter of Hadassah in February 1912, they took the Hebrew name of Queen Esther
Are you interested in having a Hadassah Shabbat at a congregation near you.
